For the past 10 years Eisner and Crane Lake Camps have hosted a summer event geared at stewarding and engaging our stakeholder community. The Summer Stakeholder Assembly is attended by more than 300 donors, clergy, temple leaders, alumni and other community members who care about the future of camp. We have used this vehicle to show the impact of our collective efforts, highlight new innovations, and engage our camp family in joining us to achieve our recruitment and fundraising goals. From theme setting to development of the program, this session will give you the ins and outs of planning a large scale event during the summer. Toegether, we will learn how to engage lay leaders in the planning and how to limit the disruption to campers and staff. We will walk away with event planning tools and concrete examples of how this event has achieved the goal of stewarding and cultivating donors, and helped with our recruitment of campers and staff.
