Part of the role of Board members is to help develop new strategies and support the change and innovation. Yet far too often good and useful efforts meet resistance among diverse stakeholders.

This session is designed to help Board members deepen their understanding of the obstacles and underlying reasons of resistance in order to better support their camps to evolve and thrive.

At the end of the session you will have
- explored the role of loss, disappointment, loyalty and other competing goals that prevent the important change projects in your camps.
- Taken away a strategies for deploying yourself from your Board role vis-a-vis these challenges more productively.

This session builds from the Adaptive Leadership framework developed at Harvard Kennedy School by Ronald Heifetz and his colleagues.
