Does your camper care intake process approach need a refresh? This session will explore how you can set the stage for knowing all of your campers before they get on the bus! Campers are needier than ever before. Mental Health and Behavioral challenges are on the rise. Our young camp staff are struggling too. Franki is an expert in strategic oversight of camper care including emotional, behavioral and mental health across all camper programs, including staff support.
This session will touch on:
• Determining what questions should be on the “MESH” section of your health forms Perfecting the daily management and continuous training of your staff and professional team.
• Refining intake procedures
• Reading between the lines on all camper and staff forms Determining who gets calls, who calls, and what is the script- perfect the parent/camp relationship
• Keeping seasonal leadership staff in the loop and engaged during the off season
• Learning the art of the parent meeting
• Refining your process of prepping notes for pre-camp so they are useable for young staff and leadership staff
